Can I Have a Private Design Consultation?

Can I Have a Private Design Consultation?

Can I Have a Private Design Consultation?

Yes. If you’re unsure about what you need, which design category to choose, or how to write your brief, you can book a free consultation with Designs Orbit team before committing to a contest. We’ll help you figure out the right approach so your budget goes further and your results are stronger.

I. WHAT A CONSULTATION COVERS

  1. Understanding your needs

We’ll ask about your business, your audience, and what you’re trying to achieve. Whether you need a logo for a new venture, a website refresh, or packaging for a product launch, we’ll help you identify which design service fits best.

  1. Brief writing support

A strong brief is the difference between getting designs you love on the first round and going through multiple revisions. We can help you:

  • Define your style direction with reference examples.

  • Set realistic expectations for your budget level.

  • Structure your brief so Designers understand exactly what you want.

  • Choose the right contest type (Standard or Guaranteed) for your project.

  1. Budget and pricing guidance

We’ll explain what each pricing tier gets you, how prize levels affect the number and quality of submissions, and whether your project might be better suited to a contest or a one-to-one project with a specific Designer.

  1. Brand and strategy questions

If you’re starting from scratch — no logo, no colours, no brand identity — we can talk through the basics: what to prioritise first, how to build a visual identity step by step, and what you can realistically achieve at each stage of your business.

II. HOW IT WORKS

Step 1: Book
Contact us at [email protected] with your name, business, and a brief description of what you need. Pick a time slot that works for you.

Step 2: Talk
A member of our team will call you at your chosen time. Consultations typically last 15–20 minutes. We can also do this over email or live chat if you prefer.

Step 3: Get a recommendation
We’ll send you a summary of what we discussed, including a recommended contest type, pricing tier, and tips for your brief. No obligation to proceed.

III. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the consultation free?

Yes. There’s no charge and no obligation. The consultation is there to help you make the right decision before you spend any money.

Who will I speak to?

One of our design consultants — someone who understands the platform, knows the Designer community, and can advise on what works for projects like yours. They are not salespeople; their job is to make sure you get the right outcome, even if that means recommending you hold off on launching a contest until you’re ready.

Can I get a consultation after I’ve launched a contest?

Yes. If your contest is live but you’re not getting the results you expected, we can review your brief with you and suggest adjustments. Common fixes include clarifying your style direction, adding reference images, or adjusting the budget. Contact our support team and mention “mid-contest review.”

Is the conversation confidential?

Yes. Everything you share during a consultation — your business plans, brand ideas, competitive concerns — stays between you and our team. We will not share it with Designers or any third party. If you later launch a contest, only the information you include in your public brief will be visible to Designers.

What if I decide not to proceed?

That’s completely fine. There is no commitment, no follow-up sales pressure, and no penalty. The consultation exists to help you decide, not to push you into a purchase.

How do I book?
